US and Japan discuss global convergence

Representatives of the United States Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) and the Accounting Standards Board of Japan (ASBJ) met in Norwalk, CT, USA on November 2, 2006. This was the second meeting (following the meeting in May), to enhance dialogue between the two Boards in their pursuit of global convergence of accounting standards.
